A young journalist, full of angst and empathy.
'I Know at last that I Know Nothing;
Ignorance on such a scale dazzles and frees my soul,
Child-wonder becomes my daily bread,
Broken for me each passing moment
-Rumi'
It's hard to describe something that you're still in the process of discovering and exploring. That's how I think I would like to put it when asked to write a few lines on myself. Though all I would say is that I like to ponder on alot of subjects from life-yours and mine, a favorite subject being God (that doesn't necessarily imply the religious version mind you) and His not-so-humble creations. If I had the choice I would have probably enjoyed pursuing a degree in philosophy. Dreams are definitely a form of planning for me. Currently earning my livelihood through published writings in magazines and newspapers.
In my bedroom you will find: guitars, an unmade bed, books, cds, PCs, basically everything that is lifeless and empty...but look under the bed, and u might find some regrets there...many forgotten hopes murk there in the silence...painful and distant memories are my room mates...ashtray has been a long time friend...reminding me joyfully of a smoky past...the walls will testify about my passionate love...shoes, the creases on which will tell u the tiring path I’ve been to;dust, that reminds me about all those forgotten people that I had known all my life but are no more;a mirror, that asks me questions; questions about who am I, where I am…the reflection in the mirror asks me who is the reflection…me or it? …could it be that I’m just a reflection of some other world, some other life? many unanswered questions u will find in the room, like dark shadows…questions which are best left unanswered;questions which I want to confront with someone but find noone but the walls to talk 2;the walls know alot abt me;wish they could talk back sometime.
ideal match: someone who can understand me for what I am, and more importantly for what I'm not...someone who can look beyond her pointless lipstick shades and nail polishes...someone whose brain is more sexier than her body...alas I ask for too much :-)
my idea of a perfect first date: the place doesn't matter-what matters is the connection, where I'm wholly immersed into you and you into me…where we can become one, if only for a moment, and not two souls apart but two souls reunited in love, pain, tears and smiles. That mood can be created by her one smile, one touch or one kiss. The place or the food don't matter to me-whether it's a roadside dhaaba or a jazzy place like gun smoke...the love should be there…in her eyes…in our eyes… and communication shouldn't be inhibited to words-say everything to me without a word… and I promise I'll hear you
From my past relationships i learned: Shit happens. Don’t expect too much. That essentially I’m in love with an ideal, which I find in so many different girls, but not all in one :-D. That love continues, no matter what, even when everything else has died down.
